It is Never Easy

It is never easy
For those of you who follow financial media would have been aware of China scare, commodity crash, market corrections etc.
People listen more to financial media when going gets tough. Financial media amply your fear during such times.
The more you listen to media, the frequently you keep checking your portfolio; it makes it difficult not to react. Reactions during such times cause irreversible damage to one's wealth creation goal.
As I always say making money from equity is simple but not easy.
You need to learn to ignore worries of the world. There has always been some problem or another which dominate our mind space. There are very rare spells when nothing bad seems to happen.
'Buy & hold' would look easy when the market is going up. The real test comes during these times of corrections.
Unless one has very strong emotional control, making money from the market is tough.
The 3 key traits required to create wealth are long term orientation, patience and discipline.
Time can do wonder to your portfolio and wealth if you learn to ignore volatility.
Most people fail because they yield to fear and panic during bad times, act impulsively due to volatility and forget long term picture.
India would grow and do very well in the next few decades. This would get reflected on corporate performance and hence stock markets. If you can get this broader picture correct, then why worry about day to day news or short term outlook?
Successful investors take a broad view of the future and learn to ignore every day volatility. India has been growing well for last few decades and would continue to scale new heights in the decades to come. Equity is for you only if you have faith in future.
As I've pointed with data, only a small percentage gets rich from markets. These are the ones who have patience to live through ups and downs, follow investment discipline irrespective of bull and bear markets and stay invested for decade or decades.
For most of us, equity is the only way to create financial independence.
Equity investing demands lot of emotional maturity. If you have emotional maturity, creating wealth is simple by following few elementary steps. If you don't have emotional maturity, not only that you would not create wealth but may lose some as well.
Getting rich from market has never been easy.
I'm trying to ensure that all our clients create huge wealth from markets in the long run.
For that I need your co-operation of staying the course ignoring ups and downs.
If you can take care of your behaviour, wealth creation would automatically be taken care.

A Quiet Voice

A quite voice
This is a little story that reminds us to listen to that small quiet voice from within -- you never know where it will lead you.
As a teacher of origami (the ancient Japanese art of paper folding) at the LaFarge Lifelong Learning Institute in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Art Beaudry was asked to represent the school at an exhibit at a large mall in Milwaukee. He decided to take along a couple of hundred folded paper cranes to pass out to people who stopped at his booth.
Before that day, something strange happened -- a voice told him to find a piece of gold foil paper and make a gold origami crane. The voice was so insistent that Art actually found himself rummaging through his collection of origami papers at home until he found one flat, shiny piece of gold foil.
"Why am I doing this?" he asked himself. Art had never worked with the shiny gold paper; it didn't fold as easily or neatly as the crisp multicolored papers. But that little voice kept nudging. Art tried to ignore the voice. "Why gold foil anyway? Paper is much easier to work with," he grumbled.
The voice continued. "Do it! And give it to a special person." By now Art was getting a little cranky. "What special person?" he asked the voice. "You'll know which one," the voice said.
That evening Art carefully folded and shaped the unforgiving gold foil until it became as graceful and delicate as a real crane about to take flight. He packed the exquisite crane in the box along with about 200 other colorful paper cranes he'd made over the previous few weeks.
The next day at the mall, dozens upon dozens of people stopped by Art's booth to ask questions about origami. He demonstrated the art. He folded, unfolded and refolded. He explained the intricate details, the need for sharp creases.
Then, suddenly, there was a woman standing in front of Art. Was this that special person? Art had never seen her before, and she hadn't said a word as she watched him carefully fold a pink piece of paper into a crane with pointed, graceful wings.
Art glanced up at her face, and before he realized it, he found himself reaching for the "gold-foil crane" he'd labored over the night before. Carefully he picked up the gold crane, and gently placed it in the woman's hand.
Art said: "I don't know why, but a voice told me to give you that golden crane. The crane is the ancient symbol of peace," Art said simply.
The woman didn't say a word as she slowly cupped her hand around the fragile bird as if it were alive. When Art looked at her face, he saw tears filling her eyes.
Finally, the woman took a deep breath and said, "My husband died three weeks ago. This is the first time I've been out. Today ...." She wiped her eyes with her free hand, still gently cradling the golden crane with the other. Then she said very quietly, as tears streamed down her face. "Today would have been our 'golden' wedding anniversary."
Then the lady said in a clear voice, "Thank you so much for this beautiful gift. Now I know that
My husband is at peace.
Don't you see? The voice you heard, it was the voice of God, and this beautiful crane is a gift from Him. It's the most wonderful 50th wedding anniversary gift I could have received. Thank you for listening to Holly Spirit within your heart."
And that's how Art learned to listen very carefully when the Holy Spirit speaks to him within, and tells him to do things he may not understand -- now or even later.
Are you listening, my friend? God may be speaking to you.
Thank you & have a relaxed day !!!

Akbar & Birbal

Akbar once put a question to his court that left everyone puzzled.
As they all tried to figure out the answer, Birbal walked and asked what the matter was. And so they told him the question.
'How many crows are there in the city?'
Birbal immediately smiled, went up to Akbar and announced that the answer to his questions was twenty-one thousand five hundred and twenty-three.
When asked how he knew the answer, Birbal replied, 'Ask your men to count the number of crows.
If there are more, then the crows' relatives from outside the city are visiting them.
If there are fewer, then the crows are visiting their relatives outside the city.'
Pleased with the answer, Akbar presented Birbal with a ruby and pearl chain.
This is the kind of stories being dished out of business news channels day in a day out.
For example: take the question "Market kya bolta hai (What's the market saying)" or
Where will the index be by in 5 years?
And haven't you heard very intelligent and learned people saying that the index could triple in 5 years.
The use of the word 'COULD' is like Birbal's answer.
Again we hear things like the market will rise provided "MONSOONS" are good, provided "FISCAL" situation improves but there are risks also like outcome of various "ELECTIONS"
Thus the media and experts are always ready with BIRBAL answers and like Birbal's earned Ruby and Pearls the media earns huge advertising revenue by aggregating fools who sit in front the idiot box.

Life cycle

------------------------
Physical death
Economical death.
Physical death cannot be substituted
But
Economic death can be..
